The Foundation awarded more than $5,200 in grants to members of the South Brunswick High School (“SBHS”), Constable Elementary School (“CES”), and Indian Fields Elementary School (“IFES”) faculties.
Among the innovative ideas and programs the Foundation is investing in are “Google Jockeying,” Justin Negraval (SBHS), “Flip for Technology,” Lisa Manganello (SBHS), “Afterschool Peer Support,” Kelly Boyer (SBHS), “Healthy Living Program,” Patricia Bramson and Donna Sichta (SBHS), “Sensory Kits,” Rachel Atzert, Amy Bertelsen Robles, Allison Dubois and Jennifer Leach (IFES), “Mountain Math & Mountain Language,” Debra Bevan (CES), and “Ryan’s Story Assembly Program,” Gina Welsh (SBHS).
The next application window will open during September 2011 for the Spring 2012 grant program.It is the mission of The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc., a (501)(c)(3) non-profit corporation, to promote and provide educational support and opportunities through innovative programs and projects. The Foundation will fulfill its mission by attracting and allocating financial and in-kind gifts of goods and services to and for the students of the South Brunswick School District.
